Please note that we are no longer accepting new signups or renewals for the DynDNS.com Network Monitoring service.
As of December 1, 2009, we have completed the migration of our Network Monitoring customers to one of our partner organizations that specializes in network monitoring, InternetSeer.com.
We thank the hundreds of customers that have enjoyed this service over the past few years for their patronage. Ultimately, since our engineering efforts have been focused on improving our core DNS offerings, we haven't had time to enhance and improve the Network Monitoring service. We believe our customers will be better served by the monitoring experts at InternetSeer.com, where they will continue to enjoy a highly reliable service with new features and functionality added regularly.

DynDNS® Network Monitoring detects network, system, and application level failures and notifies host or service level contacts. Checks are distributed across our network from multiple sites to avoid false positives and provide an accurate view of the availability of your services.
Capabilities and Features
- Be alerted and fix outages before your users notice
- At-a-glance dashboard to see multiple checks
- Complete logging out system status changes
- Notifications can be sent to e-mail or pager aliases
- Designate a notification contact for a host and each service in a host
- Monitor a Dynamic DNS hostname, or standard CNAME or A record
- Up to ten (10) types of services on a single host
- Look for expected data in a number of checks
Supported Checks
Some of these checks can also check for expected data, such as a certain string on a webpage or the correct banner appears when Network Monitoring goes to check service.
