Using MailHop Outbound with Mailsmith

This document describes how to configure Mailsmith to work with MailHop® Outbound.

Mailsmith: Accounts

Select "E-mail Accounts" from the Window menu.

Mailsmith: Credentials

Create a new account or select one of your existing accounts to edit. Use your name for "Sender's Name:", your primary e-mail address for "Reply Address:", "outbound.mailhop.org" for "SMTP Server Name:", check "Use SMTP Authentication:", and use your DynDNS.com username and password for "SMTP User ID".

Mailsmith: SMTP Port

Use 25 (or another number if port 25 is blocked) for "SMTP Port:". See the MailHop Outbound How To for a complete list of the ports supported.

Note: If you select the option Require SSL for STMP then you must enter 25, 465 or 10465 in the SMTP Port field.

New outgoing mail will now use MailHop Outbound.
