How to upgrade

Before upgrading, please note that any configuration from your old update client will not be transferred over to the DynDNS Updater version 4.0. Make sure you backup or save any of your previous hostname settings before upgrading.

  1. Remove all Dynamic DNS update clients from your computer.
  2. Download the new DynDNS Updater v4.0.
  3. Follow the installation guide from our Knowledge Base.
