Ak-Nord ComPoint Series
The ComPoint-Lan is an external device server that transforms a
hardware device with a serial interface such as RS-232 or RS-485 into an
ethernet interface. The ComPoint-Lan is available with one (25-pin Sub-D
Jack) or two (9-pin Sub-D Plug) interfaces. Typical applications for
this device include POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash registers, machine
controls, tellers' systems, industry robots, BDE appliances, MDE
appliances, and modems.
