WORCESTER, MA - DynDNS.org has announced today that they have restructured their Web presence as part of a 2003 growth strategy. The release is just a month after the public launch of beta.dyndns.org. A drastic change from the previous organization, the new www.dyndns.org is a single site that integrates information about the organization, support content, user's account and host information, and client listings. They are now presented in a single, logical format for greater accessibility and modularity.
This is the first step of a multi-stage project to re-architect the entire system while enhancing the flexibility to add new services. "We have some pretty innovative ideas on how to use distributed databases to address some key issues relating to latency, scalability and availability," said systems architect, Chris Reinhardt. "That's going to pave the way for some exciting new services to be launched later this year."
