Dynamic Network Services Incorporated (DNS Inc.) today announced the release of DynDNS Updater version 4.0 for Windows. This latest software update client is designed for consumer users of DynDNS services including Dynamic DNS, Custom DNS, and Recursive DNS.
The DynDNS Updater 4.0 for Windows is a lightweight update client with a fresh new user interface. DNS Inc. has streamlined the functionality of the update client to ensure that it works especially well with remote devices. Additionally, version 4.0 is specifically designed to work within newer versions of Windows, particularly Vista.
As well as the new user interface, version 4.0 is self-configuring, determining user settings automatically. The set-up process for the new updater can take as little as 10 seconds. The default settings for the new updater require SSL by default, ensuring security at every step.
We are proud of the updates we've made with DynDNS Updater 4.0, said Tom Daly, Chief Technology Officer, Dynamic Network Services Inc. The new user interface and new settings help make this updater self-sustaining, simple to use, and functionally superior.
