Issue 25: MailHop Backup MX and Relay Support User Lists
March 21, 2008
DynDNS now provides support for User Lists on MailHop
Backup MX and MailHop Relay. This addition
to MailHop now allows customers to upload a list of usernames for each MailHop domain in service. By using this feature,
MailHop customers can better protect themselves from spam and dictionary
attacks by ensuring that the MailHop systems reject and discard unwanted
mail before it is delivered to the customers server. A further benefit
is that MailHop will no longer perform call-ahead recipient verification for
enabled domains. Doing so will greatly reduce load on MailHop and customer
systems, enhancing the speed of mail delivery.
Customers who wish to enable this feature should simply navigate to their
domains MailHop page, and access the preference link for User Lists. As
always, DynDNS Support is standing by to answer any questions about this new
feature.
