DynDNS Certified for Custom DNS

The DynDNS Certified for Custom DNS logo certifies that your product works well with DynDNS Custom DNS service. Products must meet the following criteria:

  • Ability to successfully update hostnames using Custom DNS
  • Must only update when the IP address has changed
  • Unique user agent header that identifies the client
  • Compliance with the other requirements in our hardware authoring hints

Products that have been tested for the DynDNS Certified for Custom DNS program and that have passed testing are entitled to use the DynDNS Certified for Custom DNS logo on the packaging, in the configuration interface for the client, in the router's documentation and in any promotional materials.
