The DynDNS Certified logos indicate that a hardware product has passed our rigorous test procedure, indicating that this product is fully compatible with the Dyn Standard DNS or Dynamic DNS service. Your customers can feel safe using a DynDNS Certified products and know that this product will not have negative effects (such as blocks for abusive updating) on their DynDNS account. As well, a listing of certified products will be available on our web site so that our users know to choose certified hardware products when shopping for devices with a DNS client.

To reward manufacturers that exclusively support DynDNS DNS, there is also the Works Only with DynDNS DNS program.

DynDNS Certified for Dyn Standard DNS

Products that incorporate a client for Dyn Standard DNS service are eligible for the DynDNS Certified for Dyn Standard DNS logo. This certification indicates that the product passed our rigorous series of tests and was found to interact well with Dyn Standard DNS.

While we encourage all products to include support for Dyn Standard DNS, this certification would be particularly beneficial for products targeted towards the home office or small business market.

DynDNS Certified for Dynamic DNS

Products that incorporate a client for DynDNS' Dynamic DNS service are eligible for the DynDNS Certified for Dynamic DNS logo. This certification indicates that the product passed our rigorous series of tests and was found to interact well with Dynamic DNS.

Dynamic DNS is our basic, most popular service which is aimed towards home users, telecommuters, home offices, small businesses and any other organization requiring a simple, easy to use way to locate things with a Dynamic IP. The DynDNS Certified for Dynamic DNS logo will enhance your product's appeal in those diverse markets.

Works Only with DynDNS

The Works Only with DynDNS program seeks to reward the hardware manufacturers who exclusively support DynDNS. Participation in this program gives your company:

  • A direct link to DynDNS engineers and support staff
  • Technical support provided to your users regarding the DDNS functionality
  • The right to use the Works Only with DynDNS DNS logo
  • A listing at the top of our hardware client listings

Products that participate in this program must also meet all of the requirements of the DynDNS Certified for Dyn Standard DNS and DynDNS Certified for Dynamic DNS certifications.
