Our network and systems are the backbone of our operations. We pride ourselves on our uniquely engineered network of DNS servers and supporting infrastructure.
We use hardware architecture built to support our service offerings, with the utmost in flexibility and reliability. Systems in the DynDNS clusters are commodity -based hardware running the FreeBSD operating system. Switching and routing operations are powered by Juniper and Cisco equipment.
DynDNS co-locates its infrastructure in world-class data facilities. Each of these facilities offers redundant Internet connections, power, and HVAC. These facilities provide protection for our servers and infrastructure in a highly secured and closely monitored environment.
Our additional DNS nodes are provided by co-location sites throughout the rest of the world. Each slave site is capable of serving the DNS traffic for the entire DynDNS system, leaving no one single point of failure, ensuring resolution of your hosts and domain names.
All of this technology is backed by a team of network engineers and system administrators who monitor DynDNS systems 24x7. Problems are quickly detected and fixed while secondary systems ensure that no downtime is noticed by our users.
